It was THE DAY!
The 50th anniversary of Brahmanubhuti of Sri Sai Master! HE experienced it on this day, on Shirdi Soil, and thus became "Sai Baba ka beta"! From that day onwards, HE encouraged everyone towards the same experience. The experience for which the Rishis have undertaken the penance for years end, for which they yearn every moment, Sri Sai Master encouraged everyone and helped all those if they showed slightest of the inclination.
Today, many kids know about Sri Shirdi Sai Baba and they keep hearing the stories about HIM. To help them read, last year, a book on Sri Sai Baba was published by Sri Manga Bharadwaja Trust called - Balala Sri Sai Leelamrutam which gained a good standing in the younger generation and being distributed as gift on their birthdays. To enable wider audience and to reach out to many, an english version - Children's Sri Sai Baba - was released on this day by Divyajanani.

Remembering this day, every year, to reinforce our resolve to walk on the path blazed by HIM, this day is being celebrated all over by Sri Sai Master devotees in every satsang. This year being 50th anniversary of the that Brahmanubhuti of Sri Sai Master, it was celebrated at Nagole, Hyderabad, in the presence of Divyajanani.
In a pandal, well decorated, charged with spiritual fervour, the celebrations started at 9.30 am in the morning of February 9, 2013. The program where bhajan went on for couple of hours followed by reading of articles in Sai Baba magazine, on Sri Sai Master, one of them written by Divya Janani.
The reading of the articles was followed by puja to Sri Sai Master and followed by bhajans by Gurukulam kids.
To mark the occassion a new book was released. This book, which was released was in line with what Sri Sai Master always said. HE said, the kids must be taught from a very young age various teachings of Mahatmas and must try to foster an atmosphere as mentioned by them. Everyone must encourage the kids to understand the importance of Mahatmas in our society and the need to follow them.

During anugraha bhashana, Divyajanani emphasised the need to teach the young ones to bring in betterment in the society, to enable them imbibe good values.
It must be the responsibility of every Sai Master devotee to spread HIS message every where and to explain about what HE did or still doing for the society at large, through HIS literature and speeches. HE always lived in the same thought and showed how to be.
On the occassion of this great day, particularly during this Kritagnatarcharna Mahotsavam, we must re-dedicate to the task of bringing in change by spreading HIS literature and what HE taught and how useful it is for the current society.
May we all seek the blessings of Sri Sai Master and Divyajanani to keep us grounded in HIS thoughts and become more and more stronger to carry the flag to the generations to come. As we enter in to Prabhanjana nama samvatsaram, let us make best use of every moment!
