Sai Leelamrutham Kritagnatarchana 2013 - A brief

Jai Sai Master!

Today, 12th May 2013, like every year, Sri Sai Leelamrutam Kritagnatarchana was celebrated at Nagole in Divyajanani Sannidhi. An event which is observed as a gratitude to Sri Sai Master, is celebrated on 2nd Sunday of the month of May every year.

Sri Sai Leelamrutam, one of the holy books written on Sri Shirdi Sai Baba, gives a glimpse of what HE is and the more we try to understand the better it helps us to understand the presence of the Consciousness which HE is, every where. In Sri Sai Leelamrutam, Sri Sai Master gives a wonderful picture of Sri Sai Baba so that we can remember HIM any time of the day, doing any activity. Infact, the more and more we understand HIM, the more and more we will be surprised at HIS omnipresence, which will help us walk in the right way in any situation. For giving us such a book, we must be indebted to Sri Sai Master for ever and as a part expressing our gratitude, this function was celebrated today (being second sunday of the month May).

Visit to Sri Nampally Baba with Divyajanani!

Jai Sai Master!

Rarely one gets an opportunity to be in a place where a great event unfolds right infront of our eyes. Once that happens, it becomes a major milestone in life and leaves with more strength to move ahead in the path of spirituality.

One such occassion was witnessed by Nagole Satsang Members on Good Friday, 29-03-2013 and all those present, are all blessed or should it be said, showered with blessings. It is really wonderful and quite elevating to be in the presence of those two Mahathmas.

It all started at 4 pm on 29-03-2013 officially, while the preparation to feel the energy started couple of days back with reading of Sri Manikya Prabhu charitra and Sri Swami Samartha (Sri Akkalkot Swamy Charitra). The members prepared for this trip, which is a mile stone in everyone's life, with all sincerity and were eager to live every moment of the evening with Divyajanani in the presence of other Mahathma, Sri Nampally Baba.

Lifetime Teachings 20 - SAI MASTER SAYS.....

Jai Sai Master!

It is all Energy and it is flowing across. In human beings, we take in energy in different forms and the same needs to be let out appropriately to balance out. If this energy is directed for right purpose, then we align with natural forces and if the same energy is used for non-beneficial purposes (for the beings around or environment around), then natural forces try to correct till a time, when they can not correct, but will eliminate the body which is not being used appropriately. This is nothing but acting against set rules, and they are set by Nature. when our body responds inappropriately or health-upheavals are all indicators of this non-alignment. Most of the time, we do not use our intelligence to channelise our energies, that's when we go against the rules. The movement of energy and the our chitta (or way of thinking) must align to ensure the energy flow happens smoothly through us and we become an integral part of the whole.

Lifetime Teachings 19 - SAI MASTER SAYS.....

Jai Sai Master!

People have a feeling that an enlightened soul or person talks at a different level and those can not be applied directly by commoners. However, the best part of such great people is the very thought they have about others who have not "experienced" the bliss that they are experiencing on a sustained basis. So, they continuously prod people to shun the worldly matters to work towards the bliss that they are enjoying. While putting such efforts, they also give simple solutions to make our paths simpler and to help our sadhana. Since they reached the stage after having gone through hardships, they feel others should get to the point with ease.

Sri Sai Master, during HIS discourses, (or Satsangs), continuously talked about simple things. One such thing is about forming opinions and views about others.

Lifetime Teachings 18 - SAI MASTER SAYS.....

Jai Sai Master!

It is quite common for everyone to idolize someone or some theory in life. Many consider that to be a very good motivating factor and also to benchmark against, to see how we are faring in our life. However, many a time, we fall woefully short of following the same. This could be either we have not understood the theory well or do not know the person well. In both the cases, we must dive deep to know more, as much as we can and start following with all sincerity, and with integrity.

In general, people talk about GOD and try to emulate them. But, we either grossly go wrong in understanding their deeds or use their names very inappropriately. This is quite common with Lord Krishna, whose name is associated with number of wives more than for HIS wonderful Bhagavadgita. This too very loosely without knowing the facts. Same is happening with Sri Sai Baba of Shirdi, to where lakhs flock to every week. However, how many care to follow what HE said or how HE lived? Sri Sai Master says in Sri Gurucharitra (telugu chapter 33), if one loves the GOD, then why they do not love what HE asked everyone to do or follow? Many a time in a day, this keeps hitting me again and again and for any such situation that reminds me of this line, a method or way of doing is given in Sri Sai Leelamrutam. However, when I start contemplating on such short comings, the doubt arises whether I sincerely love HIM or is it a superficial sham?

Lifetime Teachings 16 - SAI MASTER SAYS.....

Jai Sai Master!

One of the most difficult things to happen in life for anyone is finding a place where they will find the ultimate peace and happiness. As we are born and brought up in a world yearning for comforts, filled with machines and mechanical motions, with a set pattern of living, it is very difficult to see beyond even when searching for true happiness. First of all, knowing that there is something beyond itself is a chance that comes once in a million. Even then, realising that it is THAT we are searching, is a one in a billion chance. By the time the billionth chance comes, our present life would be over.

But then, is there a way out? Yes. Searching for someone who is a realised soul. Not by judging them, but by following a defined path, a path well etched in our traditions and mentioned in holy books, like Bhagavadgita or Sri Gurucharitra. Only a realised soul can help us realise THAT, if our yearning sustains and flows over the brim. It is also mentioned in those books that such a person would appear when we are ready to receive what HE can tell and follow the same. That means, that search must be our life purpose and even our acts in materialistic life should be a part of that whole preparation or Sadhana.

Teachings of Milarepa - by Sri Sai Master!

Jai Sai Master!

Sri Shidi Sai Baba said the objective of human life is to search for a Sadguru. This is the only way in which one can succeed over death. However, for those of us, who are born in a materialistic world, it is indeed a herculean task. With so many distractions for our senses, and an unstable mind which is wandering like a monkey jumping from one branch to other, incessantly, all through, without allowing us to focus, it is very difficult to prepare ourselves to identify the omnipresent GURU or all-pervading teachings. Same is echoed by Sri Ramakrishna when HE said, those who got a human form, if they are not trying to find the GOD or the Ultimate TRUTH, then their life is waste.

Every great soul or realised soul says the same, which normally appears against the worldly view. How to leave all that is giving us comforts is a big question mark. Is it really worthful to look at that side when this side is quite bright and cheerful. However, the big difference is, what ever we do on this side, we will not be happy or contended or cheerful. There is something or other which bothers us. So, late in the age, we realise that focusing on HIM is the best as HE is the one who gives that Happiness or contentment. But for those few handful of seekers, the prescribed method is prepare our mind, body to receive the GURU and when the same is ready, HE appears like good rain which brings out the best from the fertile mind. The best way to do this is to read the books on Mahatmas and contemplate on what they said continuously. In every religion or region, we have such great souls and it is our duty to go after and read as much as we can about them.

Visiting Mahatmas - Poondi Swamy

Jai Sai Master!

In the year in which we are celebrating and expressing our gratitude to Sri Sai Master, who encouraged many to visit Mahatmas all over, it would be nice to have a darshan of those through vitual medium.

One such Mahatma is Sri Poondi Swamy of Kalasapakkam near Tiruvannamalai (20 km from Arunachala). “We are all like bulbs but Poondi Swamigal is like a transmitter.  Unless the switch is on there, the bulbs will not burn giving light”.  These words were uttered not less a person than the Kanchi Periawal Sri Chandrasekara Saraswathi Swamigal who has been revered and worshipped by thousands of his devotees as God incarnation. 50th Brahmanubhuti Celebrations@Nagole on the first day of Prabhanjananama Samvatsaram!

Jai Sai Master!

It was THE DAY!

The 50th anniversary of Brahmanubhuti of Sri Sai Master! HE experienced it on this day, on Shirdi Soil, and thus became "Sai Baba ka beta"! From that day onwards, HE encouraged everyone towards the same experience. The experience for which the Rishis have undertaken the penance for years end, for which they yearn every moment, Sri Sai Master encouraged everyone and helped all those if they showed slightest of the inclination.

Remembering this day, every year, to reinforce our resolve to walk on the path blazed by HIM, this day is being celebrated all over by Sri Sai Master devotees in every satsang. This year being 50th anniversary of the that Brahmanubhuti of Sri Sai Master, it was celebrated at Nagole, Hyderabad, in the presence of Divyajanani.

The Omnipresent and omnipotent - Sri Shirdi Sai Baba!

Jai Sai Master!

Many of us talk about divine intervention for many events in our life, be marriage, be getting a job or solving issues in our professional life, birth of a child and such. While it is a great feeling to attribute to the divine intervention, feeling that rest of the life is self driven, purely based on our strength or knowledge whatever, is bringing down our own opinion about the all pervasive and omnipresent consciousness which manifested in every form in the universe.

If we can feel, every moment of our life, we can surely understand the divine play, be in the way we are living, or the way thoughts bring generated or even bringing us under the spell of maya. Only those who are conscious or living in the present can realise the same.

Sree Sadguru Baba Saayee - Tujha waanchuni aashraya naahi bhutalee!

Jai Sai Master!

Add caption
Science defines that there is one energy and in different forms. Those who were spiritual in the east, understood this long ago and focused on realising the truth. The same energy, which manifested in every form, be human or animal or plant or any other in this world, is to be experienced rather than understood theoretically. The same energy, was named differently by different people. In some religions there is no limit to what you call the same, and in some, you call only with one name. Be whatever, it is that we all need to experience for we are given with sense faculties and most importantly, thought.

Let noble thoughts flow from all directions - A new year wish!

Jai Sai Master!

On the eve of another year entering in to our lives, looking at the current situation around, probably, the only wish we need to have in our minds is:

Aano bhadra krtavo yantu vishwatah! - Let noble thoughts flow from all directions.

To ensure we live "happily" and let others live "happily", there can not be a better message than this in my view. It is proven that there is only one energy that is appearing in different forms all over the universe. The same energy, which is called by different names, repeatedly gave the message that it is all one.

Sri Shirdi Sai Baba said - I am in Shirdi and also everywhere. The entire universe is in me. All that you see combined is ME. Those who think that I am in Shirdi, have not seen me at all.

(From Sri Sai Leelamrutam - a holy book written by Sri Sai Master)

Lifetime Teachings 15 - SAI MASTER SAYS.....

Jai Sai Master!

We all seek knowledge. Everyone of us, every moment, try to seek something..be information or clarifications, which definitely will enhance our current level of information. Only issue is, ability to use the information appropriately, in right time and at right place. This is something that many of us lack due to our inability to analyse and stack them up rightly. Either we put them in silos thinking life is compartmentalized or dump them and fail to retrieve on-time. Since life is not like question and answer kind, many of us get lost in the sea of information.

Want to visit Shirdi? Here is how you can get benefited !!

Jai Sai Master!

Shirdi - a place visited by lakhs every month and known all over the world! Be any part of India, they know who Shirdi Sai Baba is and what they can get out of Shirdi visit.

However, many a time, what we miss is the point that we are visiting a Mahatma, not just a temple. More so, a living person whom we are going to encounter. It is quite evident from what Sri Shirdi Sai said:

(My Tomb will talk; My soil (Shirdi soil) will answer; My name will speak - from Sri Sai Leelamrutam by Sri Sai Master)

Deepavali with Gurukulam Kids@Nagole

Jai Sai Master!

It is probably the only festival which kids will look forward to either fire crackers or to watch their elders go nuts with the crackers. Whatever it is, this is best remembered for how much they enjoyed and every year will give them a chance to erase a previous record.

This year, at Nagole, the Ananta Bhradwaja Gurukulam kids had a wonderful festival on both Chathurthi and deepavali days. On the day one, it was their turn to start the proceedings and on day two, it was their Gurus who started the same. The show went on for couple of hours with sparklers to pots to shots giving away array of colors and wonderful designs lighting up the night sky.

All, the elders, youth and the kids, were wonderstruck at the way the crackers were made which gave colors after colors, in nice floral designs.

A fun filled tuesday for all Nagole members who went back home thanking the Sai Master for giving an opportunity to be around with Ammagaru and Babugaru to enjoy along with every other family member, enjoying every bit of the color and for the wholesome fun with all the kids and young lot.

May we look forward to another such great day next year!

Jai Sai Master!!

Deepavali wish - Sai Reham Najar karna bacchon ka palan karna!

Jai Sai Master!

It is that time of the year, when everyone looks forward to a great time. Starting with Dussehra, each of the festivals bring in more and more cheer culminating in Sankranthi, when the bounty comes home. Each festival has a speciality and particularly Deepavali with so much excitement, especially when kids are around.
Deepavali, is a festival of lights helping us bringing in more and more light in to our lives thus helping us dispel the darkness. Everyone must use the light to throw out the sorrows and desires out of our lives to lighten up our lives in all sincerity. This festival helps us to prepare for the Karthika pournami which is around the corner, when we go in search of our GURU who can light up the lamp of Jnana. These festivals must encourage us to look deeper and deeper in to us to find answers for the questions like, who are we? where are we? what is the purpose of living? Is there a better way of living? What is that we need from this life?

A Vijayadasami wish - Let us cross the line!

Jai Sai Master!

There is a real meaning behind celebrating every festival around the year. Particularly for a festival like Vijaya Dasami, there is a lot of meaning and infact, a new life starts on this day for many. Those who are aspiring for success in something, start in right earnest on this day. If we look back at some of the great people as to what they did, it gives us an idea what we should be aspiring for. Leave aside progress of mankind or progress of science to prove the existence of God or such. Let us for a moment think simple and straight to understand what a human being needs to live without any frustration or to live with love and compassion emulating the great nature around us. Probably, a leaf out of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba gives us an idea what we should aspire for and probably that can inspire us to set out on the path for this Vijaya Dasami.

Vijaya Dasami Celebrations@Nagole

Jai Sai Master!

For every Shirdi Sai devotee, Sri Sai Satcharitra is nothing new. This is a book written by Sri Hemadpant, but infact, was written by Sri Sai HIMSELF as mentioned by Sri Hemadpant. When Sri Hemadpant asked for permission to pen HIS life history, BABA asked him to collect and put them together. This very much indicates the desire of Sri BABA who wanted the leelas to help every seeker. HE never felt HIMSELF as a body, but gave enough evidences to prove the ultimate truth or the omnipresent.

Lifetime Teachings 12- SAI MASTER SAYS.....

Jai Sai Master!

All through the life, everyone tries to find the right focus and if one is fortunate, will get that focus in the minute before last breath. Rarely, people get that focus right. Why does this happen? Not because of too many distractions that we all think. But because of our own distractions, or the distractions that we created in some form or other.

Today, in the name of socialisation, we are ending up with this kind of distraction, which consumes lot of our energy and more importantly...our time. We never think how critical is that distraction. In between, when the stress levels go up (a commonly used word of "Professionals"), we turn our attention to a thing called GOD. Otherwise, we feel like GOD. We have no time to understand, nor time to seek answers from the right person, due to which many of our good old traditions are coming under attack. Generation to generation, the gap is increasing and knowledge transfer is ceasing.

For all these, there is only one remedy and that is with every individual. SELF. One needs to gain control on the most important organ, which ironically can not be pointed out as HERE...THE MIND. Today, every other person has taken control of our mind, rather than ourself, and is getting filled with information which we can not use, but can impact our health. As we hear more, we feel "frustrated", and as alternative turn our attention to cheap enjoyment, like movies or television. Is it that difficult to gain control on mind? YES. with so many distractions and conditioning in schools, one needs to unlearn all that first and start filling self with good information or gain knowledge. This gives rise to right thinking or acting right. This in turn helps us to find the right people around us and live right, to promote right thinking and developing right perspective about society. As we try moving ahead in life in this direction, with effort on controlling the mind to think right, at some point of time, it might become possible. If any one of the above mentioned does not happen, then we go back to square-one.

Vinayaka Chathurthi - A festival to celebrate humanness and nature!

Jai Sai Master!

Today, all over India, people celebrate Vinayaka Chathurthi with reverence. Pandals on the streets, in the house with the families and friends, a real joyful day. Particularly for kids, who are told to keep their books and pray to the Lord Ganesha for the "success".

With time, this festival also became a regular affair with people bringing in Ganesha idols made of plaster of paris and with paints etc.. However, with someone telling us all as to what is the importance of each festival, understanding and realising the importance of festival of Lord Ganesha has become more meaningful and a day of joy. (Article on Ganapathi pujaloni Rahasyam by Sri Sai Master in Manamu- Mana Samskruthi)
