Panacea to diminishing humanity – Sri Sai Leelamrutam

Don’t just read. Understand, contemplate and follow”.

While Shirdi Sai Baba said this while talking to V H Thakur about holy book “Vichara Sagaram”, the same holds true about Sri Sai Leelamrutam. On the occasion of Vijayadasami, the day Sri Sai Baba took Mahasamadhi, it is appropriate to think of this holy book.

At a time, when human values are being questioned, generations are searching for the meaning and purpose of life, this holy book appears as the only panacea.
While there are many books written on Sri Sai Baba of Shirdi, Sri Sai Leelamrutam stands out as the best ever for the sheer weightage given to the detail about the life and times of Sri Sai Baba. This can be called as the biggest boon Sai Master has granted to humanity for centuries to come, for this can guide anyone at anytime to walk on the right path.

In the introduction of this book, Sai Master explains why Shirdi Sai Baba is the ‘Yugavatar’. Sai Baba is a God to many, cutting across religions. He showed the right way of living to whosoever merely glanced at him.

Sai Master, Pujya Acharya Sri Ekkirala Bharadwaja, after attaining siddhi in Shirdi, on February 9, 1963, felt the information on Baba was inadequate and needed to be presented in detail to help anyone who read it for the betterment of their life. He started searching for the details through old magazines, he met people and families who were associated with Baba and listened to their incidents repeatedly to ascertain the consistency of their memories of Baba.  He strived hard for close to 17 years to compile the book in the current form, which shows the divine blessing bestowed on humanity that worked through him. Or, did Lord Dattatreya, the omnipresent gurutatva, take Sai Master’s form to hand over this divine gift to mankind?

I bow to the great one, who is showering his grace on us through this holy book.

JAI SAI MASTER !

It is kind of Bhagavadgeeta of present days and can get peace in the entire life if followed. I am personally experiencing lot of miracles after reading it and I bow to the feet of Sai Master who inculcated the Bhakti mostly in youth who are turning out to be good citizen.

  2. Om sai sri sai jaya jaya sai - chant it continuously for a long and you will have the experience of baba standing in front of you and blessing you. Our Sai Maser Sri Ekkirala garu gave us a wonderful books Sai Leelamrutam and Sri Gurucharitra to do parayana and also to realise the realities of life. If we read the books with good understanding we begin to realise that we still suffer even after getting the blessings of baba, because he is clearing our sins through the sufferings. We will also get the strength to face the challenges in life through sufferings and later on nothing bothers us and we will be in a relaxing state where we concentrate on following the principles of BABA.
