Jai Sai Master!
For every Shirdi Sai devotee, Sri Sai Satcharitra is nothing new. This is a book written by Sri Hemadpant, but infact, was written by Sri Sai HIMSELF as mentioned by Sri Hemadpant. When Sri Hemadpant asked for permission to pen HIS life history, BABA asked him to collect and put them together. This very much indicates the desire of Sri BABA who wanted the leelas to help every seeker. HE never felt HIMSELF as a body, but gave enough evidences to prove the ultimate truth or the omnipresent.
Like the aartis, even this was a boon to all those who wish to follow HIS footsteps. Without this, today we would not have understood the greatness of this KOHINOOR of Mahatmas. Likewise, HIS desire to propagate more and more, prompted Sri Sai Master translate the same in to telugu. Before Sri Sai Leelamrutam came, Sri Sai Satcharitra was distributed by Sri Sai Master to many. Though, Sri Sai Leelamrutam, which received BABA's blessings, contains many experiences of HIS devotees and also more information on Sri Shirdi Sai Baba, Satcharitra is the first book that came out on Sri Shirdi Sai.
On the occassion of vijaya dasami, Sri Manga Bharadwaja Trust released this book from the hands of Divyajanani, in a simple but elegant function organised on 24-10-2012. Divyajanani performed puja amidst chanting of "Sainatha jai - Sri Guru Bharadwaja jai", then released the book. Sri Ekkirala Dwarakanath Jnaneswar (son of Sri Sai Master) received the copy from Divyajanani.
Giving HER bhashan, Divyajanani, who co-authored the translation along with Sri Sai Master, explained the circumstances in which She played the significant role in this holy book coming out. Sri Sai Master started the translation on HIS guru's desire, way back in 1983 and continued the same till HIS samadhi in the year 1989. After which, HE handed over the work to Divyajanani to complete and finally resulting in book being available in telugu.
For all Shirdi Sai devotees who want to know more about Sri Sai Baba, this holy book will help re-emphasise the omnipresence of Sri Baba and help HIS devotees to walk on the path shown by HIM.
