Want to visit Shirdi? Here is how you can get benefited !!

Jai Sai Master!

Shirdi - a place visited by lakhs every month and known all over the world! Be any part of India, they know who Shirdi Sai Baba is and what they can get out of Shirdi visit.

However, many a time, what we miss is the point that we are visiting a Mahatma, not just a temple. More so, a living person whom we are going to encounter. It is quite evident from what Sri Shirdi Sai said:

(My Tomb will talk; My soil (Shirdi soil) will answer; My name will speak - from Sri Sai Leelamrutam by Sri Sai Master)

It is very important to remember these words when we think of going to Shirdi. We are in the presence of such a great Mahatma and need to ensure we are prepared to receive the instructions. For this, we need to start preparing ourselves to the yatra (piligrimage) thoroughly, instead of planning to go around to visit various places around Shirdi. We are going there with the sole aim of being in the presence of Sri Shirdi Sai only and nothing else. We must remember that HIS presence must be enjoyed by being there at that time, rather than thinking about other things.

Probably it is THE place one should visit if they are seeking inner peace. To enable those who are interested in going there to reap maximum benefits, Sri Sai Master penned a small book named " Shirdi Kshetra Sandarsanam". In this HE says, if one knows how to use visit to Shirdi, probably there is no other holy place like that!

Yadbhavam tadbhavati - The result of our visit is dependent on our preparation and bhavana, as to how much we are in HIS presence in real sense. Hence, it is very important to understand the necessity of preparing well which leads us to search for methods to do that. If one reads this small book by Sri Sai Master, they can prepare mentally well to make best use of their visit.

May the seekers visiting Shirdi benefit and come back as better souls! May they be blessed by Sri Sai Master!!

Jai Sai Master!!
